She/Her - Why did you create this work?
Last autumn, we went on a hike on Mount Aragats in Armenia. We didn’t expect it to be completely covered in snow, but it turned out to be an eerily beautiful experience traversing icy plains and passing snow-covered ruins. I wanted to capture the essence of this hike in this illustration, using multiple panels to highlight different aspects of the journey. - How were your illustrations used?

Linde Raats is a 28 year old illustrator, currently based in Ghent, Belgium. After getting a degree in graphic and digital design, she picked up drawing again in the form of digital illustrations, drawing inspiration from beautiful places, different cultures and the nature around us. Her brightly coloured images reflect how we experience these beautiful landscapes, rather than how we see them. - Where are you currently based?
