She/Her - Why did you create this work?
The idea of this book was born when my child got a wooden tiger from a souvenir shop in Bangkok. The tiger was made of wood and looked very realistic, but made a funny quacking sound if you blew in it. A tiger who quacked was a funny idea and between me and my son a new story was born. Together with the publisher we decided to explore the idea of finding your true self despite the difficulties of not fitting in with the expectations of others. - How were your illustrations used?
